Just the fact that it's the 43rd Anniversary Show would normally be enough for a celebration. But this show is even more special because -- wait for it -- it's Arni's final Uncle Bonsai concert. That's right! Arni's retirement party . . . her swan song . . . her "so long and thanks for all the fish" moment! [Read Arni's note here!] We'll be singing songs from all the recordings, the "Seven Sins, Seven Wonders, Seven Dwarfs" show, and more . . . old songs, new songs, and lots of surprises! It's the beginning of the next 43 years! Uncle Bonsai returns . . . with brand new member Kat Bula. An amazing vocalist, and great performer, Kat's been learning a lot of lyrics over these past months -- there are lots of brand new songs too, so Patrice & Andrew have been working hard as well -- and now we're ready to show off again! So, where do you start a new era? There's no better place to premiere all these things than this great space. This is an afternoon concert and is preceded with a great potluck lunch. We've been rehearsing, we've been recording, we've been writing new songs, we've change our strings THREE TIMES in the past 6 months, and it's basically all been leading up to this. The month-long premiere of the next 43 years, featuring Patrice, Andrew, and the amazing Kat Bula, continues with the first Bellingham show in over five years. This is a beautiful theater, in downtown Bellingham, with great sound and new bad seats! Come welcome the group back and hear all the new songs, along with some more familiar ones, they've been rehearsing all these months. Will they have a new CD with them? No one knows . . . but maybe! Will there be leftover chocolate cake? We'll see!
