Uncle Bonsai returns to the place where some of the songs were recorded. That's right, if you were at the Olympia show last year, you're on the CD. Traditions Fair Trade is one of their favorite venues and they can't wait to share some brand new songs, and some new old songs, along with songs from the Seven Sins, Seven Wonders, Seven Dwarfs song cycle. What makes this such a great place? It's the Bellingham CD Release Concert! Last year the group played this beautiful theater -- first BHam show in almost 10 years -- and recorded it for the new cd. Hey, some of those recordings are on there so, if you were at the show, you're on the cd! The group had such a wonderful time at this theater last year, that they jumped at the chance to return with more songs from the "Sevens" song cycle, along with a whole bunch of new songs, and even some new old songs! This is a great theater and it's Andrew's birthday; that means cake!

The group hasn't play in Portland in almost 10 years and is excited to be heading back for this amazing house concert series. It's a great space to play -- seating is limited -- and there's a potluck at 6:30! The group will be playing songs from the "Seven Sins, Seven Wonders, Seven Dwarfs" song cycle, along with other new songs and old favorites. It's a great place to see a show but make reservations early!
